The 127th Annual Convention delivered an unforgettable three-day experience, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals for a dynamic blend of networking, education, and celebration.
Day 1: Kickoff & Connection
The convention opened with a day focused on building relationships and setting the tone for the event. Attendees began the morning with a friendly Golf Scramble or tested their aim during the Clay Shoot. For those seeking a creative twist, the Art Bus Experience offered a unique look at local artistic talent in a mobile gallery format.
Later in the day, guests gathered at the Scoular Happy Hour, where great conversations and refreshments flowed freely. The evening wrapped up with an energetic Opening Reception and Expo, where exhibitors showcased the latest products, services, and innovations from across the industry.

Day 2: Insights & Celebration
The second day was packed with opportunities for learning and recognition. Attendees explored the Expo, attended engaging Speaker Sessions led by industry experts including Susan Stroud, Tucker Brown, and Lisa Quist from Nationwide, and participated in targeted Industry Breakout Sessions that delivered valuable insights to our specialized committees.
The evening highlighted the industry’s best at the Lone Star Award Ceremony which was presented by the Chief of Staff from the Texas Department of Agriculture and recognized the outstanding contributions and achievements of the legendary Burt Livengood. Afterwards, guests enjoyed a lively Casino Night complete with games, amazing raffle prizes, and live music, creating an exciting and festive atmosphere.

Day 3: Reflection & Forward Focus
The final day provided one last chance to explore the Expo and connect with peers and exhibitors. The convention concluded with the Annual Business Meeting where we celebrated our past and future TGFA Board of Directors and the graduation of the 2024-2025 Emerging Leaders Class. We ended our fiscal year with a reflection of the past year’s accomplishments and a forward-looking discussion on future goals and initiatives for the agriculture industry in Texas and beyond.

The 127th Annual Convention was more than just a gathering—it was a celebration of progress, collaboration, and community. Thank you to all who joined us and made it a success! We hope to see you next year in San Marcos, TX April 29-May 1.
